Studying the Higher Diploma in Surveying and Property Management has been an incredibly rewarding experience, equipping me with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills for the industry. My favorite subjects were Project Management for Surveying Profession and Planning and Development, as they provided hands-on insights into coordinating construction projects effectively. Learning how to change the land use terms, manage procurement, and oversee project timelines gave me a clear understanding of real-world project execution. I am grateful for the supportive lecturers and the industry-relevant curriculum, which have built a solid foundation for my future career as a professional surveyor. I highly recommend this programme to anyone pursuing a future career in surveying or property management.

Two years ago, uncertain about my career and academic path, I discovered this programme, which has been transformative. Its comprehensive content covers property management and surveying, allowing students to explore their interests through diverse courses over two years of study. All the lecturers are professionals with practical experience in their fields, and they willingly sharing up-to-date insights into related careers, which enriches our understanding. I chose this higher diploma programme because of its practicality and the labour demand of the industry. Teachers are experienced and professional. During my two years of study, I realised that the surveying and property sector is moving towards specialisation, and further studies are beneficial for my career development. HPSHCC provides a quality learning environment and adequate resources on solving students’ learning difficulties. I can focus on studies and move towards my goals.

Studying in HPSHCC has been a precious experience for me. HPSHCC provides an ideal place for me to study and to apply my knowledge into work during the summer internship. I was not only equipped with a wide range of professional knowledge, but also gained practical skills such as communication skills and problem solving skills. Teachers are well-prepared for the lectures and they are experts in the real estate industry. Spending my time in HPSHCC was the wisest choice I have ever made.

I used to work in another industry before entering this College, which I cherish learning more than anything else. In the past, I had only a vague understanding of what real estate management was, yet the comprehensive programme structure has equipped me with knowledge in key aspects of property industry through a dynamic way of teaching. Besides classroom learning, I have gained working experience through part-time and intern employment in two property management companies. Those valuable experiences not only allowed me to apply my knowledge into work, but also strengthened my dedication to pursue further study and career in the field of property management.
