College Life

Two years of study in Medical and Health Product Management program has allowed me to build a solid foundation of basic medical knowledge. With its well-thought-out curriculum, I can prepare myself for future studies with relevant theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Also, the College provided a wide variety of workshops, and sharing seminars to support students in their studies. All lecturers and academic tutors have been kind, patient and helpful too that I am truly grateful for what the College has offered me.

During the two years study of Higher Diploma in Medical and Health Products Management at the College, the lecturers provided me a good foundation in medical knowledge with different guidance and assistance, which helped me articulate into HKU Nursing programme successfully. Here, I sincerely thank the College and my teachers for their selfless help and patient guidance in the past two years. I can eventually study my favorite programme and reach my dream even though I failed in the public examination before. Therefore, students need not be panic if they do not get a good result. Studying in the College could be another path to chase your dream.

The two-year study experience at HPSHCC has broadened my horizon and deepened my understanding of different areas of business operations such as information technology, law, accounting and human resource management. The learning journey also helped me discover my passion, and I will focus on information technology, electronics and computer science for my future development.

Since I was young, I wanted to work in medical field. However, my HKDSE result was not satisfactory to fulfil this dream. Therefore, I decided to study the Higher Diploma in Medical and Health Products Management programme. I hoped to build up my fundamental knowledge of medical science in these two years. Studying this programme is a "fresh beginning" for me, but I believed that my efforts will be rewarded, and I finally did it. I'd like to express my gratitude to all lecturers and staff who assisted my study. 

The two years of study in Higher Diploma in Medical and Healthcare Product Management has been very rewarding. The curriculum is well structured so that it is easy for students to absorb and learn, laying a solid foundation for our future. The tutors of the college gave me unparalleled support. They were often able to answer my study questions quickly, and were also willing to give me advice on further studies. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the College for the support provided over the past two years, as well as the help and encouragement of different mentors.

I had a fantastic learning experience in this college. I really appreciate all the help and attention from all the lecturers, which allowed me to understand the courses in an in-depth way. I believe that with all the efforts that you put in, you could get into your dream university too!

“Insightful, rewarding, and motivated.” That is how I would describe my two-year studies in MHPM at HPSHCC. Not only did this programme solidify my foundation in health science, but it also gave me insights into operation of a pharmacy and different healthcare professionals, especially pharmacists and dispensers by studying the Professional Skills in Pharmacy course. Meanwhile, the College provided a wide range of extra-curricular activities for students to explore their interests and gain transferable skills. During the pandemic, our programme lecturers held many online workshops via ZOOM or YouTube to support students of continuing studies. I could not make it without their help and encouragement. Therefore, I am glad that I chose this programme two years ago.

As I have unsatisfied results in the HKDSE, I finished a Foundation Diploma and was admitted to the Higher Diploma in Nutrition and Food Management in HPSHCC. During my two-year study, I recognised the joy of study thanks to the patient guidance of the lecturers, the unwavering support from fellow classmates and the good learning atmosphere of the College. Last but not least, chances are reserved for those who strive for the best, so I finally achieved my goal to start studying in the University.

After the two years of study in the Medical and Health Products Management programme, I have gained a good basic understanding of the healthcare industry. The programme has allowed me to consolidate my medical knowledge and build a good foundation for my further studies. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the College and my lecturers for the support and guidance, which helped me to realise my dream and progress to the bachelor's degree programme in Nursing.

Despite the COVID-19 disruption, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at HPSHCC and firmly believe that the College has prepared me to excel in University. Owing to the uncertainty over the pandemic development in the past two years, my peers and I had faced challenges returning to school during our study. While I was worried about my academic learning progress during the face-to-face class suspension, the College flexibly deployed various teaching modes to sustain students' learning at home. I was able to interact remotely with my peers and consult our lecturers on multiple e-learning platforms throughout my study. The College has also organised various online seminars and workshops to facilitate our career and academic planning. I would like to thank all the academic staffs for their support and thoughtfulness. Together we have overcome the challenge and made it through the hard times.

I am grateful for my time studying the Higher Diploma in Accounting at HPSHCC. I planned to progress to a bachelor's degree programme after 2-year study and now my goal is accomplished – I am admitted to The Hong Kong Polytechnic University! The College has provided me with adequate learning resources which helped me to have a good understanding of the accounting industries and its related knowledge. Lecturers are very helpful and willing to answer questions that I raised after class. I was also honored to be the Student Representative to consult with my classmates about the learning difficulties they encountered. The College values our opinions and takes prompt action to resolve the issues. Lastly, I would like to thank the staff in the College and the lecturers who provided a pathway for me to get into my dream university.
